During late September 2006 prior to the completion of “Slope” Steve played some selected dates in Japan with singer and

 

co-composer Tim Elsenburg in support of Yukihiro Takahashi’s “Something Blue” tour

 

The music Steve & Tim performed was mostly from Steve's forthcoming solo album, plus the addition of the Nine Horses song

 

‘Get The Hell Out' with Tim performing lead vocals

 

Steve's then joined Yukihiro's performance for their co-written title 'In The Life' as well as for some encore numbers

 

Steve and Yukihiro went on to perform two semi-improvised shows in early October 06 at the ICC Tokyo and Sendai Mediatheque

Both performances included new material written specifically for the show

Shoko Ise provided back projections throughout

Finally on the 8th October Steve and Yukihiro performed together at the Sonar Sound Festival in Tokyo
