In 1983 Steve, along with Richard Barbieri and bassist Percy Jones, joined the members of Ippu-Do for a major tour of Japan
The band also performed on various TV shows
a brief audience recording of the live show
At the end of the previous year Masami had been touring as a member of JAPAN during which time Ippu-Do had a number 1 hit single. Ippu-Do's popularity was probably at a peak during the tour of 83.
Prior to the JAPAN tour, Masami and Steve toured together as part of the Yukihiro Takahashi band. This was Takahashi's first and most prestigious solo tour. Meaning 3 major tours within one very busy year for Steve & Masami.
