The Space Between

Instead, Jansen portrays the trails of human existence amidst the density and dazzle of stacked restaurants, bars and shops. All emanating their exciting lights, sounds and smells. These dead zones rest in the shadows. And as business thrives and consumers consume, the crows peer down through the tangled mesh of overhead power lines, supported by densely packed utility poles that rise up like electric trees.
